In Appreciation
Thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers for helping in the classroom. The students love having you here. Also thank you to all the parents and families for your support at home with your child’s education.
GLAD Training March 15-22nd
On March 15 through the 22nd I will be out of the classroom for trainings. I will be training other teachers in our school district on GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Design) strategies that they can use in their classroom. I will be at the district office on Friday the 15th and Monday the 18th but will be on site at Sun Valley Tuesday the 19th through Friday the 22nd. The students will be having the same substitute Donna Donaldson for all of the days except one (Tuesday the 19th). Having the same substitute will allow the students to have consistency in the classroom. I will also be checking in with her frequently to see how things are going. Throughout the week I will be checking my email so if anything comes up please do not hesitate to email me. Unfortunately this means that I will not be here for our Farm Day Field Trip. Donna will be going with the students along with our parent volunteers. We already have 10 volunteers that will be attending. If you are available and would like to attend please let me know ASAP. If you have any questions regarding this please do not hesitate to ask.
Please see Farm Day Information on the back.
