WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!
Hello Wonderful Students and Families!
Welcome back for the 2012-2013 school year. I am so excited to see my 5th graders (last year's 4th graders) and meet my new 4th graders. This will be a great year for us all.
Along with the strong focus on Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies, and Science, we will also spend time balancing our academic lives with some physical endeavors. Our class will enjoy hikes up the Sun Valley hill to read, and yoga for stress reduction, flexibility, and good breathing habits.
Our Social Studies focus for the year will be California History, which includes some fun and interesting projects.
The supportive and amazing PTO has again sponsored the excellent "Enrichment" program, and we will enjoy our weekly classes of Art, Music, and P.E. Add in some field trips and special events around school, and it's looking like a pretty full year!
